Sola wood flowers are a sustainable alternative to fresh-cut flowers. They are handcrafted by artisans using the plant aeschynomene aspera also known as the shola or sola plant. The flower in its natural state is a soft-off white color and has a pliable feel. Once Redesigned receives the flowers, depending on the color story of the arrangement, the creative process of coloring starts. Flowers are individually dyed using a dip process, hand-painted, or airbrush technique.
